What Is Broadcast Studio?

A recording studio.

Inspired by the incredible voices here, we built the studio.

Broadcast Studio is a recording facility built for community with efforts focused on supporting small businesses, our creative communities, economic development, oral histories, new industry, and technical growth in the south. Our broadcast / recording studio comprises capabilities for podcasting, video & music production, recording, live streaming, and content development; bringing together regional capacities across a multitude of sectors to support the amazing projects and voices here.

We see ourselves as part of the fabric of a greater whole.

What to expect after booking...

Studio Intro & Host

A teammate from the studio will be assigned to your job, and there to accommodate any needs you or the project may have. They will be there to greet you when you arrive, and show you the in's & out's of the studio accommodations. Online tours for those guests coming in from out of town also available.

Free Onsite Parking

The studio is conveniently located on the historic square in Oxford, MS. There is free onsite parking for guests at 407 South 11th Street.

Expert Audio Engineering

Unpack, relax, and settle into your centrally located accommodation.

Remote Meetings / Office

Space available to rent for remote meetings, editing session, post-production and other remote office needs.

Remote Presentations / Classes

Space available to rent with a range of modularity in the design of the set up to easily accommodate for your remote class lectures, online classes, workshops, panel discussions and product demonstrations.

Fredderick Nettles, the founder and CEO of Segment Productions, initiated a project in spring 2019 to provide a platform for creatives, entrepreneurs, and athletes to share their journeys, while also engaging in work with the Boys & Girls Club to empower youth.
